Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti
Early morning departure from Arusha. Flight or scenic drive to the Serengeti. Arrival and lunch at lodge. Afternoon game drive to spot wildlife and acclimate to the vast plains. Overnight in Serengeti.
Day 2: Central Serengeti
Full day exploring the central Serengeti. Early morning and afternoon game drives. Witness massive wildebeest herds, zebras, and abundant predators including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Gourmet picnic lunch in the park. Overnight in Serengeti.
Day 3: To Northern Serengeti
Travel north towards the Mara River region. Game drives en route. Explore the northern plains known for big cat encounters. Afternoon wildlife observation. Overnight in northern Serengeti.
Day 4: Mara River Crossings
Dedicated day tracking the Great Migration and river crossings. Witness dramatic scenes as thousands of wildebeest and zebras attempt to cross the crocodile-infested Mara River. Multiple game drives throughout the day. Overnight in Serengeti.
Day 5: Northern Serengeti
Continue exploring the northern regions. Early morning and afternoon game drives. Track predators and prey interactions. Photograph the vast herds and dramatic landscapes. Gourmet meals and lodge amenities. Overnight in Serengeti.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Morning game drive in Serengeti. Scenic drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approximately 4 hours). Afternoon rest at lodge. Evening orientation. Overnight near Ngorongoro.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. Full day exploration of this natural wonder. Game drives searching for the Big Five. Witness diverse wildlife in this enclosed ecosystem. Picnic lunch with crater views. Return to Arusha by evening.
